Christmas, a day of rejoicing in honor of the birth of Jesus. Due to the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures , it has become a worldwide festival.

Most European and American families gather at home for a delicious dinner and then sit around a roaring fireplace, singing hymns in anticipation of the coming Christmas. Christmas is a peaceful day of happiness and peace.

Singing Christmas carols on Christmas is a long-standing tradition. According to incomplete statistics, there are about thousands of Christmas carols recorded all over the world, and more than fifty of them have been sung for a long time.

在众多的圣诞歌中，这首英国传统的古典英文圣诞颂歌 The First Noel《第一支圣诞歌》不可错过，其中「Noel」一词来自法语Noël（即“圣诞节”），而这个法语词则来自拉丁语「natalis」（即“生日”）

这首歌是美国著名女歌手 Mariah Carey ，为2017年上映的美国动画电影《The Star》演唱的同名主题曲。电影以一头勇敢的小驴子和他的动物伙伴为主角，从他们的角度，讲述了耶稣降生的故事。

 

The main single <The Star>, interpreted by Mariah Carey ranked at No. 6 on the Billboard US Holiday Digital Song Sales in 2017.
