APAD: If you insist too long that you are right, you are

wrong.

After exhausting the 50 proverbs that I googled for APAD, I turn to Leo Rosten's

Treasury of Jewish Quotations. Picked up years ago, maybe from a library book

sale, it had sat in the garage gathering dust until recently. As for the whys, ask

me no questions and I'll tell you no lies.

 

I can't remember but think Chinese must have counterparts for the quote above.
