APAD: There is no such thing as a free lunch.

One workplace offered employees the option to order their lunch online at no

charge. (I never did because the servers who brought in the food looked

invariably gloomy.) It was later found out that the cost was counted as regular

income and taxed as such. Well, it seemed very close to free lunch.
