冬奥会即近around the corner ，今天电台主播说他很期待，反正防疫restrictions 限制多多，啥也不能干，在家看看比赛也好。他顺便提到北京冬奥会禁止high five ,fist bump  ，这些接触方式在比赛期间通通都是off the table ，这不是上不了台面的意思，而是指不让干的意思。类似的说法有off limits 。不过又说了：会给运动员发condoms （此词略去不译），主播说，这好理解，运动员一个个都是young and hardy ，比赛结束总得干事，所以场上奋力拼搏，下来之后房里的事也没理由荒废，食色性也，making love is not off the table 。
