Dragon Boat Day &Alzheizmer-:))..

It was past midnight-,

And i was listening to Chinese classics from the internet-&can't help thinking the two together..

Last Sunday-my father-in -law was talking to us on Skype-,suddenly my husband asked him-"dad-,do you know who i am-",there was a moment of silence-,and my -father -in law answered-,then everyone went silent-,

My husband wanted to make sure he got it from his dad-that he can still remember who he is.He didn't cry-,but we do-the rest of us do-my father- in -law stared blank into the space-,he couldn't tell if it was his younger son or older son...then last night-my sisters in law and my brothers- in -law sent messages after having a Drag on Boat Day lunch with my father -in- law..the Doctors say it might be the beginning of an early stage in Alzheimer..

 

We were making plans to return HongKong&Taiwan earlier -but had to cancel everything due to the new outbreaks in Taiwan&everyone's worried about the new variant..

He sounded a bit happier in Our internet face time yesterday-my father in law before his children returned for a Dragon Boat Day gathering..All contacts or gathering might delay or soften the worsening of any medical condtions the Doctors said..&Dragon Boat Day gathering-,is certainly one..
