Cicadas in summer 

 

On that suffocating summer night
Humidity locks the wings of cicadas
And congeals
Frolic serenade 
But the warm blood
Is still flowing
And Rising
To wake up the dormant sun

Hey you, torrent and gust
Drive away all the cowardice and hesitation
Hey you, the freedom longing cicadas 
Extend your wings
And chant, chant
Quake down this dawn-blocking wall

HauntinglyHollow - This is truly beautiful. At first i just like the poem for the imagery, the mood. But then i noticed the note under the poem and it hit me. Poem like these are worth remembering to me. Great job.
