也试译《江雪》

看到前面登出的多款译文精彩纷呈，评论也极有见地，于是心痒难禁，然试了多次，终无法满意。见到有网友说诗中“绝”，“灭”，“孤”，“独”最烘托意境，很同意。又见有争论到底老人在钓鱼还是钓雪，感觉有启发。更觉得既然是诗，总要押点儿韵，于是就凑成下面的不伦不类，博大家一笑。

 

千山鸟飞绝，

万径人踪灭。

孤舟蓑笠翁，

独钓寒江雪。

 

From the thousands of hills birds have taken flight* all together，

On the myriads** of roads no human trace is seen whatsoever。

Lonely in a boat is an old man in straw hat and cape，

Alone on a freezing river he hosts snow his fishing date。

 

* "Take flight" 是逃跑的意思。

** “Myriad”古时的意思是10,000。
