古典音乐无名英雄(三)：寂静贝多芬 Beethoven's Silence

One day I was searching" Beethoven" on YouTube, tried to find some of his works to play with my guitar.
This video popped up, the title is " Beethoven-Silence".


I never heard of it before.

I felt like flying above trees on a warm dark night, looking at beautiful stars and talking to my lonely soul, I found true peace inside.


And I knew that it wasn't Beethoven's work because of its contemporary style.


Many viewers were just as confused as I was.


Then I learned that it was composed by Ernesto Cortazar (1940- 2004) , Mexican composer in 1999.


He composed this beautiful piece dedicated to Beethoven, who was totally deaf at age of 45.

His world was silent since then.
