500 miles 梦里醉乡—致敬每个孤独的逐梦人

500 miles is one of the songs played in the movie "Inside Llewyn David".

Set in 1961, the movie follows one week in the life of Llewyn Davis, a folk singer struggling to achieve musical success while keeping his life in order.

The song was played in a dim-lighted club, and it expressed a feeling of sadness that made the heart ache all the while comforting the soul with a gentle feeling of inspiration and softness.

I think every single soul has its own 500 miles, the ideal world in the dream. Most people choose to live a normal and safe life, but only a few are willing to take risks in their life to chase their dreams. Perhaps, what matters most is not the results; what truly matters is to follow your heart, which I think is in itself already a very brave thing to do. Life is beautiful thanks to dreams, and it is given even more meaning when we are given the possibility of chasing them.
