I considered I had short memeory, especially on my school works. But there are something from my early life I can remember clearly so fresh, as if it were yesterday.
Back when my younger sister was in grade 2 and I was in 3. One day I saw a short poem (or a few lines in poem like format) from her homework book. It was an adult's handwriting but not from my mother. No title just as this:
秋,
蒲公英老了,
母亲默默地,
在每个孩子头上,
带了一把,
远飞的,
伞.
It's hardly a poem, it rhythms somehow... Some time later, I asked my sister the poem and who wrote it on her notebook. She was not aware of the poem, who did, whatsoever or something just got wiped out from her memory. But it remains in my memory at all times.
Autumn,
Dandelion gets old,
Mother silently
gives every child,
a wind riding
umbrella.
