I have not mailed out my ballot yet. But I’ll do it tomorrow. Last election, I have voted in person and forgot all the details on the ballot. Today I looked at it more carefully, and found out that not only will I vote for a president but also for a senator and a congressman, about whom I know nothing (or whom I know nothing about). There are also some yes and no (yeas and nays) questions about our local transportation bond, community health and human services bonds etc. But I had never paid attention to these issues before. Some people in this world are fighting very hard for voting rights (their rights of suffrage) (suggest reading: women's suffrage, the 19th Amendment). But I guess a lot (a lot or lots, not a lots) of people here are just like me, take the right for granted. What a shame :)
