"Wu Wei" in Chinese is literally "none doing" (无为)

However, what the Daoists meant by 无为 is not "to do nothing", but rather to do things naturally without forcing the results or anticipating any outcome.

I can't agree with you more on that our English is so much better than Laowai's Chinese! Not only that, our English is so much better than we thought. It's been more than 10 months since I started to listen to Cantonese songs and watch Cantonese shows. When I first started the Cantonese learning project, I thought within a year, I'd be able to understand everything and speak enough survival Cantonese. But now the only thing I am sure I understand is the word "简单", and I still can't say it well! Sounds very disappointing, right? But I don't feel bad about it at all. On the contrary, it is quite encouaging, because it made me realize how far we have actually gone in acquiring the English language skills.
