Divergent

 

The road diverged in front of me.

And I chose the path， 

at its end stands an apple tree. 

So paved and straight-

You didn’t need any guidance of faith. 

So gracious your gait-

You didn’t show any trace of anguish.

 

The other path must have been deserted,

for you didn’t see anything visible.

Hush! Haven’t you heard?

Panting and stumble! 

And a hymn the most joyful!
