Seeing that her elder son had a wife now, Er Leng’s mother smiled from ear to ear.

Seeing 后面 用 had 可以吗？（整个故事用的是过去式）

其他毛病？

加一个问题：说一个人有些不好相处一类，可否用： He is a little difficult?
