Riptide （August 25）

 

I tried to reach the other shore
wishing to reach you

I sank into the water
not realizing what pulled me down below

The voice was floating
quickly drowned before memory sets

Sun rises
Sun sets
Deep inside that shadow hides

Nothing happened
Nothing gone
Nothing will change the world around
