Prof. Stephen Cohen is a rarity in American foreign policy circle. Profound expertise, personal integrity, and moral courage are among his qualities as both intellectual and academic. He consistently speaks out against the War Party and its propaganda machine in US since the Ukraine Crisis started. Few can challenge him on in-depth analysis of the nature of this crisis and its fallout. His understanding of Putin and Russia is the closest to the truth in my opinion. I've observed him on Russian affairs since the collapse of the Soviet Union and concluded that he is one of the last few sensible and conscientious scholars on this subject. Unfortunately, Prof. Cohen is vilified by the left and right wings financed by AIPAC. Regardless, I've benefited from his knowledge and unbiased insight.
