Kouachi is their last name and Said is the first name of one brother. Said is a household Arabic nickname, like Che in Spanish for Latinos, hence carrying an intimate and resonant effect. Similarly, Charlie is the weekly but can refer to the murdered in entirety. Mine is a satire, not journalistic feature. Your scrutiny is appreciated.
