Need suggestion

I am reading an English classical novel now, it's kind of hard to me. I just found out Chinese edition is available online. Is this Ok for me to reading them together? I mean one chapter in English then read the same chapter in Chinese. OR do  you think I should forget about the Chinese edition, just stick with the English one, even though I can only understand 80% of the story? Thank you!
