语速没有刻意练过，也没有刻意关注。我觉得应该跟连读，弱读有关吧。我没有什么理论基础。前两天看anke_ba贴的american english study course正好有一段讲sound cluster, linking and blending。english  is a stress-timed language. 还举了个例子。

cows eat grass.
the cows eat the grass
the cows are eating the grass
the cows have been eating the grass。

这5句话花的时间是一样的。因为非stressed的词占时间很少。我只看了一点。有兴趣你可以看。
