You pay your tax, smile to your neighbour, help a stranger, volunteer to help school, donate to Sick Kids Hospital...you will be highly respected, regardless of your ethnic background. I don't know why some Chinese have such a strong sense of racial discrimination, unless they did otherwise?

I know you are doing fine.  Reading one more book or writing one more poem is a much more meaningful thing than joining a witch hunt. :)
