请大侠给看看这个短文，修改修改，多谢了

真是赶鸭子上架，本来我的英文就不是很好，更何况是这种带有感情色彩的review，对我这个理科人很难呀。
大家给提点意见，是不是太短了啊。

I knew Dr. H first as a teacher when she was teaching ＃＃course in spring 2006. Although many years have past, some episodes happened in the class are still vivid to me, because that class is the first one I took after enrolled in # university. I was impressed in how knowledgeable Dr. H was, and how friendly and patient she was to students, especially as fresh international student as me. Because of the good impression, I asked Dr. H to be on my committee for my Master degree in fall 2006, and then asked her to be my major advisor in 2007. Since then, Dr. H provided huge support for my study and research, as well as personal life. She was the one I would go to whenever I had problems in my research. She was always able to solve the problems, and most importantly, encouraged me to do more. Besides her professional aspects, personally, she was caring and considerate. She tried her upmost to help me adjusted to the foreign life by inviting me home and to many social and traditional activities. Without her advisor, I would have not finished my thesis and published scientific papers with high quality; without her help, I would have not fitted in and enjoyed my life in the United States as I do today. Therefore, from a student’s point view, I highly recommend to promote Dr. H as a full professor. She deserves it.
