39. Old Friends, New Friends

I was very happy to meet an old friend this weekend, whom I have not seen for more than ten years, and it was possible thanks to the social network. Friday evening, I noticed that he had a recent status update, indicating that he was in the area. Therefore, I sent him a message with my phone number and, sure enough, we got in touch again! I heard that teenagers nowadays use the social network to make new friends; to me, the best use is cases like this, where it helps me reconnect or keep in touch with old friends. Does this mean that we are getting old? Well, I don't think so!
