She grew up in a blue-collar family, and her father was a sawmill worker without much education. After she graduated from college and became a writer, she visited, for the first time, her father's workplace. The noisy factory had sawdust everywhere, and her father was already getting old but was still doing heavy work in such a harsh environment.
Seeing her burst of sadness, her father brought her to his seat. On a small table in the corner, there was a picture frame. With sawdust above blown appeared a familiar faded photo of a sweet little smiling girl, which turned out to be her childhood photo.
