Then, like a melancholy malcontent,

He veils his tail that, like a falling plume,

Cool shadow to his melting buttock lent:

He stamps and bites the poor flies in his fume.

His love, perceiving how he is enraged,

Grew kinder, and his fury was assuaged.

  

垂头丧气心不平,
骏马撒尾似飞花,
脽烧获爽赖阴影:
踏蝇嗜虫怨气发。
青駹恚愤入騇目,
