表扬一下我自己

I have followed The VOA Special English Program and listened to each single clip of its The Making of a Nation series for a full cycle. It lasted almost 5 years, and today is the first day of its new cycle. Even though the benefit didn't show from day to day, when I looked back, I was surprised at how much I have learned from it.

我一期不漏地听完了一遍美国之音慢速英语的“帝国的建立”（哈哈，这样翻是不是更符合事实一点儿？）系列。这个栏目每周三播出，一个周期历时近五年，内容涵盖自哥伦布发现新大陆至今的重要文化、人物，风土人情，当然最主要的是政治军事等历史。回头看，我个人从中受益良多。今天是这个节目新的“轮回”的第一天，推荐给大家，尤其是给象我一样英语起点较低、对美国（及西方）的人文历史了解有限的朋友。地址在：http://learningenglish.voanews.com/content/columbus-new-world-leif-erickson/1506901.html
