英语的称呼不太好玩，那个m-th cousin n-th removed我一直没闹清楚

m和n是怎么算的，还有谁比谁辈分长。说FDR是他老婆的5th (?) cousin once removed, 我只知道他们是远房同门，好象刚出五服的样子，可不知道到底是他是她的表叔，还是她是他的表姑。一笔糊涂账，哈哈。海伦凯勒说她祖母是某个名人的second cousin,我读到的中文译的是二表妹，我后来想了很久，可还是不知道他们到底是堂兄妹/姐弟，还是堂表兄妹/姐弟。一笔糊涂账！
