总结应该怎么译？

觉得summarize不是总适用。比如这句话“这本书的内容是对公元前200年中国医学成就的归纳总结。”肯求大家意见，怎么翻译这句话。

这句话的中文意思是书的内容海量，以前的医学知识这一点，那一点，是这本书把杂乱无张的医学知识归纳，整理成册。
