I had a dream we started studying Japanese in college years. This made me to recall my small activity:
I am not calligrapher but I have a few characters are in possession of Japanese friend. When she finished her lecturing on Japanese, I was asked to write a line as "To Lady so and so qing1 shang3". Before my graduation, a Japanese female student come into my office, wanted to join our art group. Her name is the same as an actress Zhenyoumei.
A few of my colleagues in a museum succeeded abroad: an art historian, a stone carving artist and a calligrapher/artist, As for me, I had difficulties by many sides, my achievement was limited, plus I involved word research, which would reward me soon, Japanese trip would be very likely, study few Japanese will be necessary.
