June 7, Montreal, Canada, naked students marched to protest the tuition fees hikes. 78 special law adopted by the Government of the Liberal Party, that a protest with more than 25 people must be eight hours in advance to notify the police.
The requirement is to quell the more than 10 week-long strike action by the Quebec university students protesting against higher tuition fees. Quebec college tuition has always been the lowest in Canada, but due to the deficit, the province decided to increase university tuition fees year after year starting from the fall of 2012 academic year.
The local university students strongly objected to the decision, so since mid-February this year, they have been continuously organizing protest demonstrations.
