PU, I guess here stands for Peking University, or simply speaking, University of Beijing or Beida. If the author did not mention the giant status of Mao in front of the libary building, I would not have much confidence to say PUer is Beidaren.

I witnessed the removal of that giant stauts, so I guess   might be one of my schoolmates.

I don't have much memorial about May the Fourth except the year in 1989. On that day a whole campus students gathered in the east sportsground to elect some leaders.

Just time flies. I miss the vigorous years and my friends.
