马里兰州研究人员在《眼科学档案》（Archives of Ophthalmology）发表的一份报告说，视力受损者每日步行总数比正常视力者少26%，并且身体活跃度约为后者的一半，这可能会增加视力受损者患慢性病的风险。

A report published in Archives of Ophthalmology by researchers in Maryland said that people who are vision impaired walk 26% less daily and about half active physically than those who have normal vision, therefore increase the possibility of getting chronic disease
