I watched the movie but did not read the book.

I cann't recall if I finished watching the movie from the beginging to the end.

My impression is that it's a long white and black film and was quite boring.  I watched it because it was at the number one spot of the AFI's top 10 court dramas.

Maybe I should read the book first?
