Baloney is a kind（这个双元音的i似乎发得不到位，没听到i的音） of sausage that many Americans eat often. The word also has another meaning in English. It is used to describe something – usually something someone says – that is false or wrong or foolish.(给自己一砖：oo读短了）
Baloney sausage comes（再稍微读重一点似乎更好，我也没读重） from the name of the Italian city, Bologna. The city is famous for its sausage, a mixture of smoked, spiced meat from cows and pigs. But, boloney sausage does not taste the same as beef or pork alone.
