Show me the Meaning of Being Lonely

Show me the Meaning of Being Lonely was also sung in a movie named A Walk to Remember. It is a good romance story. It is also in one of the Reader’s Digest Select Editions that I’ve collected. I like romance stories, but I am not talking about romance here. I would like to talk about my books. I remember I said before that I have collected about 400 children’s books. Well, I also on and off have collected some adult books. I would say there roughly are more than 300 and this would mean a lot when I move, because when they are all packed they could be stupidly heavy. So this would be a headache to me. Some people say you can’t read a book until it is borrowed. Well, maybe they are right, for me, mostly I love to decorate my room with all kinds of books including trashy magazines from supermarkets. Speaking of decoration, right now the thing  pops up in mind is two verses from a peom【断章】 by a poet named  卞之琳: “The moon decorates your window and you decorate other people’s dreams” . Yes, for me, I love to use all of my books to decorate my study--I am an environmentalist, by the way. Speaking of books, I remember when I was small, my father liked to take me to a local public library and we borrowed some books every now and then, and usually on the way going home, my dad would like to help me carry what we’d borrowed, but I always liked to carry them myself so to show people on the street that I am such a girl who loves to read, in order to hint people that I am smart and knowledgeable (I can't belive I did that, but I did)  Looking back on childhood,recalling silly things that we did when we were small is always sweet. Don't you think so?   Oh sometimes I can feel desperately nostalgic, expecially when I am far far away from home... Anyway, I wish I could read more in my spare time today. However, right now in this moment I have to get myself ready for my work again so to earn my bread is the priority. Have a nice day and thank you for listening and reading! :)
