Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favour fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate 
To say that for destruction ice 
Is also great
And would suffice

有人说世界灭于火，
有人说毁于冰。
根据我对贪欲的体味，
我倾向于灭于火之说。
但如果世界要毁灭两次，
基于我对仇恨足够的了解，
说要毁灭，冰，
破坏力足够，
且有余绰绰。
