I enjoyed watching those commercials, especially the Chrysler one. This is what I heard from the Chrysler commercial:
It is half time. Both teams are in their locker rooms discussing what they can do to win this game in the second half. It is half time for America too. People out of work are hurting. They all wondering what they are going to do to make a comeback, and we all scared because this is the game. People in Detroit know little something about this. They almost lost everything, but we all pull together and now motor city is fighting again. I have seen a lot tough eras, a lot of down turns in my life at the times when we did not understand each other, seems we lost the heart of times. Fog of division, discord, and blamant made it hard to see what lies ahead. But after those trials, we all rallied around what was right and acted as one. Because that is what we do: we find a way through tough time. If we can’t find a way, we make one. All that is matter now is what is ahead, how do we come from behind? How do we come together? And how do we win? Detroit is showing us it can be done, and what is true about them is true about all of us. This country can’t be knocked out with one punch, we get right back off again. When we do, the world will heat and roar our engines. Yes, it is halftime of America. Our second half is about to begin.
