【冲浪英语】 Random Thoughts 21: Happy New Spring

A couple of days ago, when I was leaving the country, where our factories are located, some of my local colleagues said to me: "Gong Hee Fat Choi!" It took me a few seconds to realize that they were saying the Cantonese version of "Wish you a prosperous new year!" Actually, since we think of the lunar new year as the beginning of the new spring (hence the alternative name "the Spring Festival"), I think that the best phrase that matches the spirit of the festival is "Happy New Spring!" What do you think?
