a tit-for-tat strugle against each other

in another forum,

I did not talk,"laughed up my sleeve"

and thought my attitude? is tactful.

Question is:

Does tactful belong to attitude?

Then I chcked:

Adopt tactful attitude to inform and convince interlocutors to accept unforeseen situations, such as waiting longer than expected,...

tactful trick is OK.
