17. Ten Years No See
"I just found another sign of getting old." I said to a colleague and friend, T. "What is it?" He asked, with a big smile. "Recently, a friend recognized me in the street by chance, and we haven't seen each other for more than 10 years!" " Well, the fact that you got recognized so many years later means that you haven't changed much and thereore are still young." He smiled again. Well, I guess there is a positive side in almost everything.
18. Two Kinds of Competitions
Although not obvious, there are actually two kinds of competition in life. The more common and recognized kind is the positive competition, where people compete for the first few positions, which are to be awarded, and the differences among the later positions are insignificant. The other, less well-known kind is the negative competition, where people try to avoid the last few spots, which will be penalized, and the spots before those are more or less the same.
