I'm also looking for a suitable electronic dictionary.

Right now, I have some choices:

1.Franklin Merriam-Webster Speaking-Spanish English and Advanced Learners English Dictionary . Model: SCD-2100

Shortage:no phoenetic symbols.

2.Franklin Advanced Merriam-Webster Dictionary & Thesaurus (with Spell Correction).

Model: MWD-1500

Shortage: no speaking.

3. Chinese electronic dictionaries

shortate: no Merrian-Webster dictionary.

I haven't made my final decision yet.
