I read the Chinese translation of Jane Eyre in college. I made a big decision to finish reading the original English version of Jane Eyre this summer. I am in Chapter 14 now. I really enjoy it, except that I found the conversation between Jane and Rochester in Chapter 14 is very difficult to follow. Even though I know every word in the sentence, I still can't figure out the meaning between the lines. I wonder, was that how they talk to each other during that period of time? But I want to keep going and not to be discouraged.
