When I introduce myself to a new patient, he/she always marvels at my oral Engliah and asks me, surprisedly, how I have learned my English. It's so funny that I have to repeat my English learning story everyday at work, not only to my patients, sometimes to their families as well. Especially to some certain people who are teachers, I have to answer all kinds of questions in every detail.
But, I always give them a friendly warning: you'll be amazed soon to hear my accent, it could be a very strong Chinese accent! And they laugh~~,and they will hear it, for sure. :)
