Dr. Herry Li, help on acnes

My 14-year old son was very handsome, every said so, certainly including me.

However, he starts to have acnes since last year. He has been seen by dermatologists. The prescriptions did not seem effective (such as Differin). I let him tried many acne products (cream, cleaning wash). They all seem not helpful.

My son is very tall, 6' 1'' now. He was tall since he was born, almost always out of growth chart (>100% heights). He is thin and has very fair color skin. I am not sure what is driver factor for his acne problem: high level male hormone because of his fast grow rate? unbalance diet since he likes pizzas and chocolates?

I googled a lot. There are overwhelming information about acne and some are contradict to each other.

Please share your opinions on acne treatments. Thank you!
