离婚问题

我一同学现在中国。他老婆04年来的美国，05年回去一次，读的博，就一次没有回去过，后来这三年一个电话也没有了，也不给孩子一个电话。离婚手续也不给办。具体表现在不签收中国法院的离婚起诉。
我同学有他老婆现在的工作地址和电话。她在这儿的一个大学工作。是一个assistant professor.在网上可以找到她的工作信息。
我同学想问下列问题：如何知道她是否已经结婚？还是不是中国公民？怎样才能让她接受法院的离婚通知？怎样才能找到她的居住地址和电话？
