“I don't need Google. My wife knows everything." 

可能很少有人知道，know有一个古老的意思是：to have sexual intercourse with

这个意思是 know 的“圣经意义”，因为在创世纪里，亚当和夏娃“同房”，原文用的就是“亚当认识夏娃”。所以在其他语言较古老的翻译版本里，也沿用了“认识”这个词。 Adam knew Eve his wife，and she conceived, and bare Cain. 

法语也是一样，Adam connut Eve.

现代许多版本，大概怕读者看不明白，就改得比较直白易懂了。

带着这个知识去读“My wife knows everything”这句话，就有不一样感觉了。
