Baloney is a kind(这个双元音的i似乎发得不到位,没听到i的音) of sausage that many Americans eat often. The word also has another meaning in English. It is used to describe something – usually something someone says – that is false or wrong or foolish.(给自己一砖:oo读短了)
Baloney sausage comes(再稍微读重一点似乎更好,我也没读重) from the name of the Italian city, Bologna. The city is famous for its sausage, a mixture of smoked, spiced meat from cows and pigs. But, boloney sausage does not taste the same as beef or pork alone.
