当我看到ESPN的“Chink of the armor”的报道的时候， 我和你想的一样，如果美国的媒体用“N*”word来称呼某非裔球星， 那就会造成很大的风波了。 面对歧视性的语言， 就象你说的， “Overeaction is much better than toleration. ”  下面是我的一个亲戚的老公（美国人）写给ESPN的email.

During a time where everyone is cautious about being politically correct, how thoughtless you were for displaying a racial slur against this Chinese athlete! Don't you have anyone editing your language prior to it's being broadcast and insulting to a whole class of people.

Shame on you! It was terrible! You owe these people an apology!

Last night, ESPN.com's mobile web site posted an offensive headline referencing Jeremy Lin at 2:30 am. The headline was removed at 3:05 am. We are conducting a complete review of our cross-platform editorial procedures and are determining appropriate disciplinary action to ensure this does not happen again.
