今天我们要学的词是resolution。

Resolution, 是决心，决定的意思。新年新气象，

"Have you come up with your New Year's resolution yet?"
你有什么在新的一年里决心要做的事情吗？

"About half of Americans make New Year's resolutions when the clock strikes midnight on Jan. 1st,"
一月一号新年钟声响起的时候，大约一半美国人都会决定自己的新年目标。

"But statistics show only about a quarter of Americans stick with their resolutions for more than a week or two,"
但是统计数字显示，大多数人只能坚持一两个星期，只有大约四分之一的人能坚持下去。
