老师不敢当，共同学习 - I don't know 的两个语调分别代表什么情绪？

“老师”这个词作为称谓，收下了；我们这儿都是同学。互相学习。这儿有很多高手呢，不露而已。上次的那个网友对语调应该有研究，真希望能再次出现。希望他们以后也常常光顾，共同探讨提高。

抛砖引玉，我分析：

第一个I don’t know. 是一般陈述，陈述一个事情/事实，告诉对方一件信息；它的重读落在最后一个实意词上（neutral tonicity）。句式就是我们通常说的陈述句，（语调单位同我们通常说的陈述句的界定吻合）。用的是降调。

言外之意有“我不知道，知道后就告诉你。”的意思。说话者态度认真。

 

第二个I don’t know. 声频（pitch）提高了；“don’t”重读了，重读没有落在最后一个实意词上（marked tonicity）。最后一个实意词还有点降升调的味道。降升调就有暗示的意思（implied information）。

言外之意有“我不知道，I don’t care , 知道也不会告诉你。”的意思。对问题不感兴趣。说话者态度敷衍，有佻侃 的成分。

当然，还可能有别的解释，根据当时的语境，可能还有别的用意。
