2. never knock their door. if children are crying too long, you can call child protection service. they will go to their home and check children for the safety of children, not because the ctying noise.
check city law code about BBQ time and noise level. In my city, the quit time is between 10PM to 7AM. and only you can continue to hear it from 75 feet far. I never check the BBQ time and how far the BBQ location from the door. However, If someone smoke in my city, they must keep 15 feet from any doors and windows. You need to check on that. If they didn't do anyhing out of the law, nothing you can do. If you do, they will go to human rights committee against you.
